I don’t know about you, but music has helped keep me sane in 2020. I’ve been enjoying music of all kinds—classical, jazz, vintage worship covers, and more. Playlist-making has been one of my quarantine coping mechanisms. As my wife and I awaited the birth of our new son, Ira, I made a Spotify playlist of songs to welcome him into the world (it has been a great soundtrack to his first few weeks of life!). Last month I also made a playlist of Psalm-inspired songs for TGC.

Though the sheer volume of good music can be overwhelming, I still maintain that music lovers have never had it better. Quality music is everywhere, streaming sites make it all accessible, and it’s my joy as a curator to help others discover it. To that end, I recently highlighted 15 emerging Christian musicians whose work is especially exciting to me. I compiled a new playlist sampler of their songs—on both Spotify and Apple Music—that will give you a good introduction to their music. Enjoy!
