We’re all called to make disciples of Jesus Christ. It sounds simple enough—help others follow Jesus as they grow in their love and knowledge of him—but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. The Demystifying Discipleship cohort is designed to bring clarity and confidence to the work of making disciples. This thoughtfully redesigned six-week cohort equips you with practical tools to help you cultivate intentional discipleship relationships. You’ll learn from experienced women’s ministry leaders who have faithfully discipled women in a variety of settings and will equip you to do the same.
This cohort is for any woman who wants to disciple others or see discipleship permeate her church culture. Whether you’re already discipling younger women or want to begin, this cohort will equip you with practices to facilitate deeper discipleship relationships.
Refunds are not available, but you can transfer your registration to a friend by February 5.
Before his ascension, Jesus commissioned his followers to go and make disciples, a call that extends to every believer today. In this session, we’ll explore what it means to be disciple-makers and how this mission shapes how we live.
A disciple is a learner, but what exactly is it we want those we disciple to learn? In this session, we’ll explore the content and goals of discipleship, considering how we can intentionally help others grow through the God-given means he’s provided for spiritual maturity.
Discipleship happens in the context of relationships. In this session, we’ll discuss the dynamics of the relationship between the older and younger believer, including how to cultivate trust, ask thoughtful questions, pray faithfully, and walk alongside others as they follow Jesus.
The Word of God is at the heart of discipleship. In this session, we’ll learn a simple yet effective method of helping others walk with Jesus by reading his Word together.
Discipleship is a joyful calling, but it also has its difficulties. In this session, we’ll explore common challenges, from feeling inadequate and navigating hard questions to addressing sin and responding when we fall short. We’ll consider how to faithfully walk alongside others when discipleship feels difficult.
The goal of discipleship is not only personal spiritual maturity, but also becoming equipped to help others follow Jesus. This session addresses how to disciple others to join in on God’s great mission to seek and save the lost.
