It’s very easy for us to read the Bible searching for commands and to miss the context in which all the commands are given. This workshop establishes Scripture’s message of what God has done for us in Christ as the crucial context for its message about what we in Christ are commanded to do.

Elyse Fitzpatrick has been counseling women since 1989. She holds a certificate in biblical counseling from CCEF (San Diego) and an MA in biblical counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary, and is a member of the National Association of Nouthetic Counseling. A prolific writer and frequent speaker at women’s conferences, Elyse has been married for more than 30 years and has three adult children and six grandchildren.
