Recently I discovered a book by J. V. Fesko titled Last Things First: Unlocking Genesis with the Christ of Eschatology. I read it from first page to last in almost one sitting, as I found fascinating his insights on what Eden reveals about the greater garden to come.
So I was pleased that my fall travels took me to California, where I was able to sit with Fesko in his office at Westminster Seminary California to discuss one of his favorite books, Galatians. And I wasn’t surprised that Fesko brings out the new-creation perspective inherent in this epistle. He offers clarity on key words including “law” and “flesh” and “freedom”—as he traces the central argument that runs throughout.
