The Slice

If you’ve read Pilgrim’s Progress, you know the demanding journey Christian, the main character, takes toward the Celestial City. At times he walks alone, but he’s often strengthened by the companions God gives him along the road—friends who “made the path easier which otherwise would have been tedious.”

If you’re like me, you may long for similar friendships—companions for the journey of faith. We want friends who walk with us toward Christ and who stay with us through hard seasons, not just when life is easy.

This week’s episode of The Deep Dish, “How to Make Friends in Real Life,” explores the beauty, challenges, and necessity of walking the Christian life together. Pull up a chair and listen—we think you’ll feel a little less alone on the journey.
