Everywhere I travel I hear the same question: how do we navigate this post-Christian culture with the church in decline? It’s a good question, and one I’ve been asking myself for many years. Countless conversations and modest mountains of books from authors inside and outside the church have yielded valuable insights. I’ve learned new arguments. I’ve learned new tactics.

But more than anything else I’ve found hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I don’t see a church cowering in fear. I don’t see retreat and defeat. I see men and women around the world bound by the same gospel that turned the ancient world upside down. I see them bound by love to tackle today’s challenges with hope that the gospel will prevail. I see them bound for glory because Jesus is coming again.
