I was working from a restaurant when I overheard two men talking behind me.

“I’ve got a friend moving to Chile who is looking for a good church,” one said. “Got any recommendations?”

“Hmm,” said the other guy.

I couldn’t stop myself. I turned around and popped into their conversation.

“Where in Chile?” I asked. He told me, and I gave him a recommendation.

I don’t have a map of gospel-centered churches in my head. But I do have access to TGC’s church directory, which is probably my favorite page on the TGC website. I love seeing the growth of gospel-centered churches across the map, I love being able to find a great church to visit on vacation, and I really love it when people find my church that way.

But most of all, I love to find sources there. When I’m gathering perspectives from different parts of the country, it’s my favorite thing to open up the directory and email a few pastors I’ve never met. So far, they’ve all been gracious, wise, and faithful.

So I’m delighted that TGC has recently spring-cleaned the directory with updates, clearer alignment, and a new look. If you’ve got a TGC-aligned church, we’d love to have you join us!
